The "Soccer Robot" is approximately 6 inches long, 3 inches high and 3.5 inches wide. Each set of 3 legs is powered by a 3VDC motor. The robot came with a small soccer ball for kicking hence the name. -more |

Walking Algorithm The walking sequence is a simple form of the tripod gait. In a normal 6-legged tripod gait there are always 3 legs on the ground for static stability. One side of the robot usually has the front and back legs on the ground and the other side has the middle leg on the ground (thus forming a tripod pattern). more |
