Super I-Cybie Skill Assessment

Take the Test!

DISCLAIMER:

The serial port version of Super I-Cybie requires a careful hardware modification to your original I-Cybie. You should not attempt these modifications alone unless you are comfortable with using basic tools, a soldering iron and a volt meter.

Here are 9 questions to assess your skills. For each question answered yes, add 10 to your score. Your final score represents in percentage the probability that you will do this modification successfully. Of course, these question are my own subjective view. But be aware, I have built many circuits and feel this modification requires some prior experience. If you are not skilled in the art of building and testing electronics then don't attempt these modifications without help. You could permanently damage your beloved I-Cybie.

Bottom line- don't do this I-Cybie modification unless you are willing to accept the worst case scenario. We spend our free time developing robots and sharing information with other enthusiasts. Don't get mad at us if you damage your robot. If you are not willing to accept this risk then do not attempt to modify your I-Cybie.
