I-Cybie Cost Reduction - Voice Recognition Board

New board has a huge grounding wire connected to the oscillator. Also, the oscillator is lifted off of the main board with a plastic spacer. These changes seem to be related to EMI (electro magnetic interference) issues. There is a motor located directly beneath the board that is suspect. This also explains why the oscillator was lifted up higher from the noise source.

A metal shield has been added beneath the oscillator. It also happens to be right above the motor. The oscillator is a very sensitive circuit that provides a clock source for the voice processing chip. Any clock glitches created by interface from the motor could cause the voice chip to operate improperly.
