I-Cybie Removing Head Shell
| Use a Phillips head screw driver to remove the 3 screws from the right ear. These screws were very tight and really hard to remove with the mini screwdriver. The body of the mini screwdriver is so small that after a while your thumb feels raw. I used a plier to grab onto the body of the screwdriver to help in turning. | |
| There are 4 more Phillips head screws on the right side of the head to remove. One is near the nose, the other is near the neck, and two more are revealed after removing the right ear. These screws are recessed deep so you may need to use different size screwdrivers. Note that you can use a flat head screwdriver to remove a Philips head screw. | |
| Once all the screws have been removed, the head can split apart down the center line. | |
| The push button insert on the head can now be removed. |
